Product Specifications & Features

Chopsticks with elegantly thin tips and
easy-to-grip handles,
enhancing the deliciousness of your food.
These comfortable chopsticks make you feel upright the moment you hold them. Each pair is handcrafted by artisans, carefully carving the wood, resulting in undeniable beauty.
Their quality is certainly sufficient for celebratory occasions and New Year's, but we hope you experience this comfort in your daily life. The slender tips delicately grasp food, and when brought to your mouth, the chopsticks don't interfere with the dish. Eating with these chopsticks seems to enhance the food's deliciousness.
We offer them in a length of 23.5cm, perfect for both men's and women's hands, and in four types with different handle shapes and finishes. Please try using them differently within your family or choosing them according to the dish or occasion.

The handle is available in two types:
octagonal and pentagonal.
For a standard grip, choose octagonal.
At Edo-Kibashi Daikokuya, a specialty chopstick store in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, you'll find an impressive variety of hand-carved chopsticks with different shapes, wood types, finishes, and lengths. At kikkake, we have selected and offer four types of chopsticks from their collection.
If you prefer a stable and effortless feel, we recommend the "octagonal" chopsticks, which have a comfortable thickness for both the handle and the tips. The octagonal shape of the grip, being close to round, fits naturally in your hand, making it easy to grasp noodles and other foods. Also, perhaps because they are made from ironwood (tetsuboku), a dense and hard wood, they have a clean impression. Both "raw lacquer" and "black lacquer" have a finish that allows the wood grain to faintly show through, resulting in a matte, subdued color.

The pentagonal cut offers
a sharp, slender, and distinctly "chopstick-like" feel.
On the other hand, if you prefer slender and crisp chopsticks, the "pentagonal cut" is recommended. The three fingers holding the chopsticks fit neatly into the odd-numbered pentagonal facets, providing a sharp and pleasant grip. Furthermore, the exquisite thinness of the tips naturally encourages more graceful dining manners. The "amber" color offers the slimmest feel, while "black and amber," with the top part coated in black lacquer, is characterized by its smooth and lustrous grip due to the lacquer.
