Clean, light, and elegant,
these glasses feature beautifully flowing curves.
Beautifully clear and transparent, with cool blue edges, and gently expanding upward in graceful curves. These striking glass cups and small bowls are light yet captivating.
WASHIZUKA GLASS STUDIO, led by artist Takanori Washizuka, creates works with "simple shapes that are easy to imagine how to use." With this in mind, when you look at the vessels again, you feel a comfortable, natural flow that truly fits the word "simple." They don't feel thick, yet they're not delicate, with just the right thinness for everyday use. The subtle stability and elegant atmosphere are created by the foot. These vessels have a fresh impression that makes food and dishes look even more appealing when served.

An impressive and vivid blue
drawn along the rim.
The striking blue line drawn along the rim is a distinctive feature of these cups and small bowls. "Aisenmon" (indigo line pattern) in the product name typically refers to patterns drawn with indigo pigment on ceramics, but when applied to glass, the impression is quite different. Viewed from directly sideways, these glasses possess a captivating beauty, like an infinity pool merging with the horizon, evoking a sense of excitement for the extraordinary.
Another color we perceive in these glasses is a soft, sunbeam-like yellow faintly lingering near the bottom. This mellow yellow, created by firing in a flame, adds a beautiful depth to the glass's curves.

Cold sweets, refreshing cold tea.
Appetizers, dressed dishes, soups, and fruits.
Everyday cooking, transformed into extraordinary beauty.
This time, we have prepared two types: cups (sakazuki) and small bowls (kobachi). The cup (sakazuki) has an elegant presence, exuding serenity and grace. It's perfect for cold summer teas like green tea or jasmine tea. Its distinctive shape, like a budding flower just before blooming, allows you to enjoy an extraordinary beauty when serving cold appetizers.
On the other hand, the small bowl (kobachi) is recommended for cold sweets such as chilled oshiruko or mame-kanten, and soups like vichyssoise. It also creates a fresh impression when serving side dishes like namul or dressed vegetables, and it's lovely for simply serving fruit.
