This plate is a versatile dish that can be used for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even snacks! It can be used as a serving plate, a plate for bread or Western-style meals, for side dishes, salads, as a slightly larger small bowl for Japanese cuisine, or for serving cakes and baked goods. Its uses are truly broad and it fits any occasion. I also love the three color options, all of which are wonderful and have exquisite shades. Personally, I recommend using it as a salad plate, as it makes even a simple salad look a bit more elegant.

Soup Bowl with Wipe-Lacquer Finish

I don't often buy soup bowls, and I think it's common to use one for a long time once purchased. I found this Rokurosha soup bowl while thinking that a simple, unassuming vessel is best for something that gets a lot of use, taking on everything from miso soup and clear soup to ozoni and oshiruko. What I particularly like about it is that its foot (kōdai) is taller than a regular soup bowl. I believe that adding height to a dining table makes the overall meal look more three-dimensional and appealing, so just having a slightly taller soup bowl improves the balance. This is why I find this soup bowl so useful.

Stockpot with Handle

I used to think that making kushiage (deep-fried skewers) was quite a hassle, because when frying them in a fryer, the skewers would get submerged in the oil, making them hot to handle and leaving oil on my hands when eating. But making kushiage with this stockpot with a handle is incredibly convenient and fun! It's smaller than a regular fryer, so you need less oil, and because of its height, if you fill it with enough oil to cover the ingredients on the skewer, you can fry them standing upright without getting oil on the skewers! It's much more convenient than you might imagine, so I really recommend giving this product a try.
