A sophisticated plate
that makes your dishes look neat.
Both the expressive vessels made by artisans and the plain, sturdy commercial tableware have their own charms, but this SyuRo plate strikes a magnificent balance, possessing the best of both. It is made of stoneware, which is described as "pottery with properties between earthenware and porcelain," and is characterized by a "clean firmness" created by firing iron-rich clay at high temperatures.
This "cleanliness" seems to be due to its shape, which completely eliminates irregularities such as edges, and its cool, quiet color. If a vessel were to have a body temperature, this plate would be slightly lower, cool yet deeply profound.

22cm in diameter, easy to use
as a main dish plate for one, or
a side dish plate for 2-3 people.
With a diameter of 22cm, it's easy to use whether serving a main dish or a one-plate meal. It has a strong presence but doesn't take up too much space, making it the perfect size for everyday use.
Additionally, its gentle curve allows for neat presentation of dishes with sauce, and makes it easy to scoop up pasta or curry. It also pairs well with dishes like hamburgers and steaks, allowing for a balanced presentation with side dishes.

Versatile Ice White, lustrous Blue,
stylish Greige, and the new refined Black.
When I first saw it, the stylishness of Greige captivated me. The brand's official color is gray, but since it's unglazed and the natural color of the clay is used, there's some individual variation, sometimes leaning towards brown or having a stronger gray tone, which is why I've listed it as Greige here. It's a deep color, yet it also has a lightness. It's a color that instantly comes alive as a supporting player the moment food is served on it.
The Blue is a deep, lustrous navy, like a gleaming stone. It tightens up the dish and makes it look cool. It pairs wonderfully with ingredients like white, brown, yellow, and green, and its lustrous glaze makes it easy to care for.
And then there's Ice White, so versatile that you'll want to serve almost anything on it. It's a cool white with a faint grayish tint, so even if you already own many white dishes, you'll surely find it refreshing.
The newly added Black is characterized by a moderate matte finish and unique unevenness specific to iron-rich glazes. Each piece has a different glaze application and expression, but the rich, non-monotonous black is cool and surprisingly easy to use.

For Greige and Black,
we recommend oiling them.
We hope you'll enjoy the individual variations in the clay's color and the subtle deepening of shades as they become accustomed to use with the Greige and Black plates. However, fingerprints may be noticeable during use, and color unevenness may appear from water droplets after washing.
If this concerns you, before use, take a flavorless vegetable oil such as salad oil or taibai sesame oil on a kitchen paper, lightly rub it on, and quickly rinse with water. Then, it's recommended to remove moisture by dabbing with a lint-free cloth or paper.
Of course, you can use them as they are, but if it bothers you, this extra step will make them even more pleasant to use.
