Product specifications and features

A roomy, easy-to-hold container. First, as a miso pot.
This uniquely shaped container is a spacious 1.2-liter enamelware pot with a large handle. It's a product from Noda Horo, an enamelware manufacturer with over 90 years of history, which handles all stages of enamelware production in-house. Its appeal lies in its reliable enamel quality and its sleek, well-balanced design.
Given its height and generous capacity, the first thing that comes to mind is to use it as a "miso pot." You can put miso directly into it, or you can simply pop in a bag of miso or a small package of miso.
My recommendation is to store two types of miso, separated by kelp. You can instantly make mixed miso, and I love this method because I feel like the umami of the kelp slowly seeps into the miso.

Store dried goods on a shelf, or heavy powders. They look cute lined up.
This container with a handle is also suitable for storing ingredients at room temperature, lined up on a shelf. You can store kelp and dried sardines, or arrange several to hold pasta like penne and macaroni, or store flour and sugar. It's also great for gathering small bags of spices that tend to get scattered in your pantry.
Your fingers can firmly grasp the handle, making it easy to carry even if it's a bit heavy, and I think it looks lovely displayed in a visible spot.

You can also cook in it, like frying for lunchboxes, or simmering and storing tomato sauce.
Enamelware is made by coating an iron base with a glassy glaze and firing it at high temperatures. Since the base material is metal, it has excellent thermal conductivity and can be used for direct-heat cooking.
This container's stable and compact shape allows for frying. When you want to put two or three pieces of fried chicken in your lunchbox, or make a small amount of deep-fried skewers as a snack, you can fry them with a small amount of oil, and its depth ensures thorough frying.
In addition to good thermal conductivity, it also cools quickly, so for example, I recommend simmering tomato sauce, letting it cool, and then storing it in the refrigerator. This is a versatile use unique to a container designed efficiently as both a pot and a storage vessel.
Please note that when using it for cooking, check the size of your stove's trivet to ensure the container is stable and does not wobble. Also, the included lid is made of EVA resin (plastic), so please be sure to remove it before use.

Product features and things to keep in mind
- After use, wash with a neutral detergent and sponge, then wipe thoroughly dry.
- The enamel body can be used in the oven and dishwasher. However, it cannot be used in a microwave. Please note that the lid cannot be used in the oven, dishwasher, or microwave.
- There may be black streaks or spots on the enamel surface or joints. These are due to unevenness in the glaze created during the manual application of the glass-like glaze, where the black base color shows through. These do not pose any problem in use, so please understand that they will not be considered defects.
- The lid is relatively prone to absorbing food odors and colors. If this is a concern, we recommend placing plastic wrap between the lid and the container, or cleaning it with baking soda.
