Product Specifications and Features Here

The coolness of aluminum, excellent thermal conductivity, and the ease of use of fluorine resin coating.

Aluminum frying pans are often seen in restaurants for commercial use. The shiny silver looks cool and can elevate your cooking mood, but aluminum also offers many functional benefits, such as its lightness, ease of cleaning, and excellent thermal conductivity, which allows it to heat up and cool down quickly. In particular, due to its "excellent thermal conductivity," it is often used in professional kitchens where precise heat control is crucial. While such delicate heat control might not be achievable on a home stove, it is still versatile enough to cook stir-fries and stews with minimal uneven heating.
This "Silk Frying Pan" from Nakao Aluminum Manufacturing uses high-purity domestic aluminum with a thickness of 3.4mm, which is thicker than typical aluminum frying pans, and is coated with fluorine resin. It is a frying pan that combines the advantages of both materials, such as even heating and heat retention from the thick aluminum, and non-stick properties and durability from the fluorine resin coating.

The handle is made of stainless steel.
It doesn't get hot easily, so you can hold it with bare hands.

The handle of this frying pan is made of stainless steel, which doesn't get hot easily during typical cooking. When you actually use it, you'll find this feature incredibly convenient.
Of course, depending on the cooking time, it might get hot in some cases, so please be careful. However, not having to cover it with a cloth or mitt every time is truly stress-free, and you can also enjoy the coolness of the sleek, extended handle.

Easy to use with a smooth slide.
Just the right depth for frying, stir-frying, and stewing.

Nakao Aluminum Manufacturing offers both shallow and deep types, but at kikkake, we have chosen to stock the "shallow" type. Even though it's shallow, it has enough depth for various dishes, and being lighter, it's easier to handle.
Thanks to the fluorine resin coating, fried eggs and dumplings slide off smoothly and satisfyingly. Of course, you can also cook dishes like hamburgers and tomato sauce stews. It can also easily handle pasta and large stir-fries, and it's easy to toss ingredients.

A wide range of sizes available,
to suit different dishes and occasions.

We offer four sizes: 18cm, 21cm, 24cm, and 27cm in diameter. Since the frying pan has a clean and beautiful shape, including the handle, it can be stored by stacking, and you'll find it useful to have all the sizes.
The 18cm is perfect for side dishes for bento boxes, or single servings of omelets and fried eggs. The 21cm and 24cm are versatile sizes suitable for cooking for 2 to 3 people. The 27cm can accommodate 4 to 5 hamburgers, so it's recommended for larger families.
Lids are also available for each size here, so please consider getting them together.

Product Features and Points to Note

  • For gas stovetops only; cannot be used with IH induction cooktops.
  • Before first use, wash with water and lightly coat with oil. Applying oil each time you use it will prolong the life of the fluorine resin coating.
  • When using, preheat and cook over medium heat or lower once the appropriate temperature is reached. The appropriate temperature is when water droplets form beads and roll around on the pan's surface (approximately 180℃).
  • Avoid dry heating beyond preheating or excessive heating, as this may cause discoloration of the fluorine resin coating or diminish its non-stick properties.
  • Use cooking utensils made of plastic, wood, or rubber for stirring or scooping ingredients. Avoid sharp-edged tools or metal spatulas.
  • After use, wash with a soft sponge and drain thoroughly. Avoid using metal scourers or abrasive powders, as they may damage the fluorine resin coating.
  • Avoid storing food in the frying pan for extended periods.
  • Aluminum has a tendency to turn black when exposed to air and water, but this is harmless.
