There are many times throughout the day when we drink without much thought: when we have a glass of water first thing in the morning, when we drink tea during the day, when we take medicine or supplements, or when we gulp down iced coffee or sparkling water. I think it's wonderful to have an "ordinary cup that you love" for these moments.
Since cups come into direct contact with our mouths and are frequently washed after use, it's good to have one that is comfortable to use, durable, and makes drinks naturally taste better. The cups from Kimura Glassware are, in my opinion, the best for this purpose. They have just the right thickness, an unpretentious shape, and a size that is easy to hold. This "cup that makes you want to gulp down your drink" is entirely handmade, and the meticulous craftsmanship is particularly evident in the rim. The glass is approximately 2mm thick, yet the rim is naturally beveled, with no sharp edges and just the right amount of smoothness—not too slippery. This comfortable rim might just be the reason why you'll want to keep gulping down your drink.

With just the right thickness,
it's also suitable for stirring with a muddler.

The uniform thickness of the entire cup, approximately 2mm, makes it sturdy and suitable for mixing syrups and drinks right in the cup.
For example, you can mix sparkling water and ginger syrup for ginger ale, add espresso to cold milk for a café latte, or float ice cream in iced coffee. It's a versatile cup that goes well with various drinks.
However, please avoid pouring hot drinks directly into the cup as it is not made of heat-resistant glass. For café lattes, it's safer to first add cold milk and ice, then gradually add espresso, taking care to prevent sudden temperature changes.

Two shapes: slim and basic.

At kikkake, we offer two shapes: "Slim," which is slender and easy to hold, and "Basic," which is stable and allows for generous pouring. The Slim version makes drinks sparkle beautifully, while the Basic version has the advantage of a wider opening, making it easier to wash. Each shape comes in two sizes, so there are a total of four variations.
If you prefer a cup that holds a single serving, I recommend the Basic [260cc]. On the other hand, if you want to drink a lot, the Slim [310cc] or Basic [320cc] are recommended. The Slim [190cc] is smaller and has an elegant impression, making it perfect for serving tea to guests.

Product characteristics and points to note

• This is not heat-resistant glass, so please do not pour hot beverages into it. Also, avoid sudden temperature changes.
• It is not designed to be dishwasher or microwave safe, so it is recommended to avoid using them.
