Highly transparent,
sophisticated soy sauce dispenser.
These days, many people may not always keep tabletop condiments on their dining tables, but there are many situations where you add or pour condiments like soy sauce, vinegar, or chili oil during a meal, such as with sashimi, grated daikon radish, tamago kake gohan (egg over rice), or gyoza. It can feel a bit bland to always take out and use condiments in their commercial packaging.
That's where I discovered this soy sauce dispenser. Made from highly transparent soda glass, it has a clean and unobtrusive shape. With no unnecessary embellishments, it is a sophisticated soy sauce dispenser designed to be most beautiful when combined with the liquid it holds.

A beautifully designed, easy-to-hold body
with a precisely fitted stopper.
No dripping, stress-free usability.
Iwasawa Glass Co., Ltd., with over 100 years of history, is a kiln specializing in "Edo Glass," a designated traditional craft of Tokyo. While preserving traditional manufacturing methods, each product is created by skilled artisans. This soy sauce dispenser, in particular, has been produced with the same design since the company's founding.
The stopper fits perfectly into the multi-faceted body, which is designed for both beauty and ease of holding. These two parts fit together securely, preventing any dripping. The stopper stays in place even without holding it with your finger, providing a stress-free user experience.

Beautifully showcases clear colors,
whether for Japanese, Chinese, or ethnic cuisine.
Available in two sizes, large and small, they have a certain charm when placed side by side. Although they have a certain thickness, the glass has a light impression, so I think it would be nice to enjoy the beauty of the clear colors by filling them not only with soy sauce, but also with various other condiments such as vinegar, chili oil, sesame oil, fish sauce, dashi soy sauce, and dressings.
They suit not only Japanese cuisine, but also Chinese, ethnic, Western, and various other dining settings. We also recommend collecting a few and refilling them as needed.

Product features and important notes
- Before first use, wash with a neutral detergent.
- Do not use abrasive sponges, metal scrubbers, or cleansers.
- Avoid putting hot liquids in or rapidly heating/cooling, as the glass may break.
- Not suitable for dishwashers, microwaves, or ovens.
- Due to the handmade nature, there may be variations in shape and color, and small air bubbles may be present due to the manufacturing process. Your understanding is appreciated.
- If the stopper is pushed in too firmly or twisted when inserted, it may become difficult to remove. Also, if salt from soy sauce adheres to the ground joint, it may cause the stopper to stick, so regular cleaning is recommended.
- If the stopper becomes stuck, soak it in lukewarm water (below 60°C) for a while to remove it. Applying excessive force may cause breakage.
