PILLIVUYT is a porcelain brand founded in 1818 in central France. For over 200 years since then, its dinnerware has been widely used in Europe, by cafes, bistros, and other businesses, as well as in homes.
PILLIVUYT plates are a clean white with a faint bluish tint. The appeal lies in their flexible white color, which appears fresh in the morning, makes food colors stand out clearly during the day, and takes on a soft impression under incandescent lights at night.

Easy-to-use oval shape.

Pillivuyt offers a wide range of sizes and shapes, but at kikkake, we've selected three oval sizes. In my opinion, when dining, arranging dishes of various shapes—round, square, diamond, long plates, etc.—rather than using only dishes of the same shape, tends to prevent dead space and makes placement easier, creating a pleasant rhythm on the table.
The "oval" shape is very useful in such situations. While it can be used like a basic round plate, it creates a fresh balance. And in practice, its elongated shape makes it easy to hold and eat from. Ovals excel in ease of use, placement, and eating, so I highly recommend incorporating them into your daily life.

17cm for small side dishes, 22.5cm for versatility, and 25cm for main courses.

The small 17cm wide plate is a casual size that can be used for small bread and butter, as a side dish, or for snacks like chocolate. It's also easy to use with other sizes, making it a handy item no matter how many you have.
The medium 22.5cm wide size is often used. It's perfect for a small one-plate breakfast, a light pasta dish, or serving main dishes like hamburgers, and it's best when combined with other dishes like soup, drinks, or salads.
The 25cm wide plate is a substantial main plate. It can be used for generously portioned pasta or as a large serving dish. We have prepared three easy-to-match sizes, so please enjoy various combinations.

Stability due to moderate thickness.
Microwave and dishwasher safe.

Porcelain, with crushed stone (pottery stone) as its main ingredient and fired at high temperatures, is harder and stronger than earthenware, and can be made thinner. While Pillivuyt plates possess this hardness and strength, they are characterized by a certain thickness rather than extreme thinness. This thickness provides stability that doesn't get overwhelmed by the food, and durability for casual everyday use.
Furthermore, thanks to its non-absorbent nature and high-density body, it is safe for use in microwaves, dishwashers, and even ovens and freezers.
