This plate makes fried foods look clean and stylish, while also maintaining their deliciousness. Its versatile shape, which blends seamlessly with both Japanese and Western cuisine, makes it suitable for various dishes like karaage, deep-fried items, tempura, and tonkatsu.
The base dish is made of Mino ware pottery with a subtle glaze unevenness. The mesh is made of durable stainless steel from Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, renowned for its metalwork. The way the soft-looking pottery and the intricately crafted stainless steel mesh fit together perfectly showcases excellent craftsmanship and functional beauty, and above all, it's incredibly easy to use.

Skip the frying rack
and fry more casually.

Since it's an elegant plate, I used to carefully transfer fried foods to a wire rack first, and then to the plate. However, once I started draining the oil thoroughly and serving them directly, I found that there was less washing up to do, I could serve them hot, and frying became much more effortless.
This S-size is just right for serving quick appetizers or side dishes like fried vegetables or french fries, or for individual portions of spring rolls or kakiage (tempura fritters).

Not just for fried foods,
but also for dishes where you want to drain fat or moisture.

While this plate is perfectly suited for fried foods, it's also recommended for grilled meat where you want to drain excess fat for a lighter meal, pan-fried vegetables, or for draining water from ingredients or noodles.
Additionally, the white plate comes with a gold mesh and the gray plate with a matte black mesh, which naturally adds a touch of elegance to your dining table.

Stackable and functional for storage.
Dishwasher safe.

Since the plate and mesh can be separated and stacked, they don't take up much space when stored. When serving fried foods, you might be concerned about the stickiness when washing, but both the plate and the mesh can be put in the dishwasher separately, reducing that stress.
It's also fun to try different combinations of plates and meshes from time to time to create a different atmosphere, so please try using them with various dishes and occasions.

• The plate is safe for both microwave and dishwasher use. The mesh is dishwasher safe only. When using the dishwasher, please separate the plate and mesh.
• The plate has high absorbency, so leaving food with high moisture content on it for a long time may cause bleeding or stains to penetrate.
• Do not leave the mesh wet or dirty, and avoid storing it in humid places. This may cause rust. Also, prolonged soaking may cause surface peeling or discoloration.
• Do not place near fire.
• Do not use scrubbing brushes or abrasive powders, as they may cause scratches.
